What happens at the end of the Millennium?
John 5:26-29.
"26 For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself;
27 And hath given him authority to execute judgment also, because he is the Son of man.
28 Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice,
29 And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation."
Looking even further forward, for the thousand years that Satan is locked away, he will not be free and be able to tempt anyone or work evil. However, we must remember that there will still be people who survived the Tribulation but were not True Believers, they will accepted the rule of Christ but have not taken Him as their Saviour. During the Millennium period these will have children and repopulate the earth, and some will not be happy with the situation.
At the end of the 1000 years it is the plan of God to release Satan from the pit and he will be allowed to deceive the people who still did not accept Jesus. Satan will make one final attempt to overthrow Christ by using those who had not accepted Jesus as their Lord. Though they had giving the outward appearance of obedience to Jesus the King, they had never really accepted Him as their Lord.
But the power of God will have totally defeated Satan and those who followed him, they will all be punished.
Revelations 20:7-10.
" 7 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,
8 And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.
9 And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.
10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever."
The names Gog and Magog are the worldwide enemies of Christ. This is not the same battle as described in Ezekiel 38-39.

The Judgment Day for Unbelievers.
Hebrews 9:26,27.
"26 For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.
27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:"
Revelation 20:11-15.
"11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.
12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire."
Here is pictured the judgment of the unbelieving dead. It occurs at the close of the Millennium following the final battle of Satan. The sea, Death and Hades will deliver up the dead in them.
It takes place before the throne, upon which Christ sits as the Judge. The level of their sinful life will affect the judgment, which is based upon the works of the people while on the earth, this is in order to show that the punishment is deserved.
Matthew 7:21-23
"21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity."
We must remember that all these people rejected the gift of forgiveness through Jesus, their names therefore will not be in the Book of Life and will be subject to this judgment because they had already rejected Christ as their Saviour during their lifetimes on earth.
This is the resurrection unto condemnation, separation from God for eternity.
"And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire."
It appears that those who had rejected Jesus as their Saviour and so their names are not in the Book of Life, will now be given some kind of resurrection body, which will allow them to be placed in the Lake of Fire, in which they will be tormented forever.
Philippians 2:8-11.
"8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:
10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;
11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father."
