Summary of Scripture Words.
Separation.

Separation.

2 Corinthians 6:17,18

"17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,
18 And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty."

The action of separation by the believer depends upon that there are two meanings to the word "separation,"":-
1)From what ever is totally different or opposite to the mind of God.
2)To God Himself, God cannot have any dealings with sinful actions, this meant that God cannot bless and use His children who are in a bad way, sinfully, or involved with others who are in an unlawful action with evil.

a) Separation from evil indicates that we are separated in our desires, our motive and our actions from the present world, and Satan
Revelation 13:3-9.

"3 And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.
4 And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?
5 And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months.
6 And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven.
7 And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindred's, and tongues, and nations.
8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.
9 If any man have an ear, let him hear."

b) Our separation from false teachers of bad teaching, who are listed as not being "vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master’s use, and prepared unto every good work."
2 Timothy 2:19-21

"19 Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.
20 But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonor.
21 If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work."

The action of separation is not by contact with evil in our world or the church, but by our actions from the present world, not in any way following it or conform to it,
John 17:15-17`

"15 I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil.
16 They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.
17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth."

Galatians 6:1,2

"1 Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted.
2 Bear ye one another’s burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ. "

As a result of this separation we will be rewarded by the full operation of the divine, not hindered in our communication with God and our worship
Hebrews 13:13-15

"13 Let us go forth therefore unto him without the camp, bearing his reproach.
14 For here have we no continuing city, but we seek one to come.
15 By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name."

This would produce our fruitful service to Him.
2 Timothy 2:21

"21 If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work."

It is very possible that a believer will not be able to totally separate themselves from the world, this involves the loss of the separation and the relationship with God but it does not mean you will lose your salvation., once you truly belong to God, there is nothing witch will take you away from Him.
Romans 8:14-18..

"14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.
16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:
17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.
18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us."

Romans 8:37-39.

"37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."
