Summary of Scripture Words.
Inspiration

Inspiration

2 Timothy 3:16

"16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:"

Every word of the Holy Scriptures is inspired or "God-breathed." This action which used human authors to produce the words does not in any way affect their intelligence, their individuality, their personal feelings, or their way of writing. God supernaturally sends or directs the words for them to write, so creating a perfect and a very accurate, understandable and a perfect revelation for men. It is as if it was written by God Himself.

In the Old Testament the various authors often wrote words like this to prove who the real author was,
2 Samuel 23:2,3

"2 The Spirit of the LORD spake by me, and his word was in my tongue.
3 The God of Israel said, the Rock of Israel spake to me, He that ruleth over men must be just, ruling in the fear of God."

Exodus 20:1,2

"1 And God spake all these words, saying, 2 I am the LORD thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage."

Isaiah 59:21

"21 As for me, this is my covenant with them, saith the LORD; My spirit that is upon thee, and my words which I have put in thy mouth, shall not depart out of thy mouth, nor out of the mouth of thy seed, nor out of the mouth of thy seed’s seed, saith the LORD, from henceforth and for ever."

Jeremiah 1:9

"9 Then the LORD put forth his hand, and touched my mouth. And the LORD said unto me, Behold, I have put my words in thy mouth. "

The Lord Jesus Christ also confirmed ,

The author of the inspiration of the Old Testament, for example, Matthew 5:18.

"18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled."

Mark 12:36.

36 For David himself said by the Holy Ghost, The LORD said to my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, till I make thine enemies thy footstool.

John 10:34,35

"34 Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods?
35 If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken;"

John 7:16,17

16 Jesus answered them, and said, My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me. 17 If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself.

The Apostles confirm their source

Acts 1:16

"16 Men and brethren, this scripture must needs have been fulfilled, which the Holy Ghost by the mouth of David spake before concerning Judas, which was guide to them that took Jesus."

Hebrews 3:7

"7 Wherefore (as the Holy Ghost saith, To day if ye will hear his voice, "

2 Peter 1:20,21

"20 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.
21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost."

1 Corinthians 2:13,14

"3 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.
14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned."

The Apostles Taught and issued commands of Christ.

2 Thessalonians 3:6

"6 Now we command you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye withdraw yourselves from every brother that walketh disorderly, and not after the tradition which he received of us.
7 For yourselves know how ye ought to follow us: for we behaved not ourselves disorderly among you; "

By this action they were claiming His authority and sanction.

1 Corinthians 14:36-38

"36 What? came the word of God out from you? or came it unto you only?
37 If any man think himself to be a prophet, or spiritual, let him acknowledge that the things that I write unto you are the commandments of the Lord.
38 But if any man be ignorant, let him be ignorant."

1 Corinthians 2:9-14

"9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.
10 But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.
11 For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.
12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.
13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.
14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned."

The writers of the New Testament, by the use of divine guidance, spoke and wrote with great authority about the past they did not know, about Historical events, told us about the Law and interpretation, gave us devotional writings and revealed the future with prophetic words of God.

Because the Holy Scriptures are inspired by God, they do not have any loss of authority or errors in the original words, they have the infallible words of God and the revelation He thinks Mankind needs to turn to Him.
