CovenantWhat does the word mean, A covenant is a formal agreement or promise between two or more people, or a decision or arrangement between groups or a group of people. Though in the biblical sense it would normally be between God and a human or God and a group of humans. From the Bible, an agreement between God and his people in which God makes certain promises and requires certain behavior from them in return. The Old Testament has a number of these covenants with God and Man. New TestamentThe New covenant, it was at the right time, and it is the everlasting covenant, it overcomes any parts which failed or not covered by previous covenants. It is the most highest level and it will not be replaced by another covenant, in Grace it is the finest covenant, the grace which Christ offers and complete bliss for those who take it. Galatians 4:4-7"4 But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law, All the previous covenants were not wrong, the relationship of each to the next was not void in any way, each was an addition to the previous. The New covenant was covered by the blood of Christ on the cross. Matthew 26:26-28"26 And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is my body.
