ConfirmationThe Word "Confirm" has the following meanings. ConfirmRomans 15:8"Now I say that Jesus Christ was a minister of the circumcision for the truth of God, to confirm the promises made unto the fathers:"1 Corinthians 1:8 " Who shall also confirm you unto the end, that ye may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ."2 Corinthians 2:8 "Wherefore I beseech you that ye would confirm your love toward him." There is a church rite which involves the laying on of hands and this is known as "confirmation" it is often associated with the Holy Ghost.
