Christian thoughts as Poems

Back Against the WallWhen your back’s against the wall
And you have nowhere to go;
You know what you should do,
But your head is sinking low.
Celebrating FriendshipToday, I’m celebrating.
Friendship came my way.
Some friendships come quite subtlety,
Others clothed in great array.
Christmas in the AirListen to the sleigh-bells ring.
Their tinkling sounds delight;
Both young and old gathered 'round
The Christmas square, tonight.
Christmas MemoriesOn a cold and misty morning,
As I gazed upon the tree,
Memories of Christmas past
Came flooding back to me ...
Dear FriendNear the end of a rainbow,
I found my pot of gold.
I found a special friend
Who’s beauty I behold.
GuiltyHow many celebrated
On the streets of Calvary,
As the Saviour bled and died,
So that all may be set free?
Life’s MirrorWalking past the mirror,
A woman stopped to look
And what she saw, while there,
She wrote down in a book.
Little Bit of HeavenThere’s a little bit of heaven
As I kneel, each day, to pray.
There’s a little bit of heaven
And it fills my soul each day.
