TITUS

Titus

Titus, who worked with Paul, was a Gentile believer and apparently became a Believer through the apostle’s ministry Titus 1:4.

"4 To Titus, mine own son after the common faith: Grace, mercy, and peace, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ our Saviour."

Titus was to later help Paul by going to some of the more difficult, problem churches, 2 Cor. 7:1ff;

"4 Great is my boldness of speech toward you, great is my glorying of you: I am filled with comfort, I am exceeding joyful in all our tribulation.

5 For, when we were come into Macedonia, our flesh had no rest, but we were troubled on every side; without were fighting's, within were fears.
6 Nevertheless God, that comforteth those that are cast down, comforted us by the coming of Titus; "

Titus 1:5.

"5 For this cause left I thee in Crete, that thou shouldest set in order the things that are wanting, and ordain elders in every city, as I had appointed thee:"
